Detailed Course Outline

Our Stewardess Package provides a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training across three critical components:

Yacht Deck

Superyacht Steward/ess Course (Approx. 4-5 Days)

This module focuses on the 5-star hospitality skills required for the interior department.

  • Service & Dining: Master silver service, plated service, synchronised service, and buffet setups. Learn mise-en-place and pre-service checklists.

  • Interior Housekeeping: Detailed training on cabin preparation, guest turn-down service, bed making, and wardrobe management (packing and unpacking guest luggage)

  • Cleaning & Care: Techniques for cleaning and maintaining luxury materials, including marble, fine wood, leather, and polishing silverware. Learn about correct products and detailing guides.

  • Laundry Management: Efficient crew and guest laundry procedures, stain removal, and professional ironing techniques for high-end garments and linen.

  • Food & Beverage: Barista coffee making, tea service, wine appreciation, basic cocktail preparation, and bar setup.

  • Yachting Essentials: Understanding the yacht hierarchy, chain of command, deck-walking advice, CV creation, and interview skills.

STCW-10 Basic Safety Training (11 Days)

  • Personal Survival Techniques (PST):  How to survive a vessel abandonment, including using life rafts and immersion suits.

  • Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FP&FF): Theory of fire prevention and practical use of firefighting equipment in a controlled environment.

  • Elementary First Aid (EFA): Basic knowledge and practical skills for providing immediate life-saving first aid on board.

  • Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR): Safe working practices, emergency procedures, and understanding employment conditions at sea.

  • Designated security duties (DSD): Learn the essential skills for maintaining security on board, including threat identification, security equipment operation, and emergency procedures.

This mandatory international certification is the minimum legal requirement for working commercially at sea. The course covers four core modules:

  • Safe Practices: Correct procedures for food storage (hot and cold holding), thawing, cooking, and re-heating.
